The statute and funding of European political parties and European political foundations
Study prepared by the Italian Senate Research Department. It describes the proposal presented by the European Commission in Communication COM(2017)481 with the aim to improve transparency, to ensure the appropriate allocation and expenditure of resources from the EU budget, and thereby to strengthen the electoral representation of European citizens by European political parties.
